Lehman College Fall 2020 Admissions

This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!

Please don’t overthink. They said they would send decisions out this week. It might be anytime up until Friday. They’re overwhelmed too..let’s all stay positive.

Thank you for that ?. Your right I’m just impatient right now and I feel like life is in limbo while I wait. I have waited since January but this last week is draaaaaging waiting for news.

It has to happen sooner or later ?

Hey,

It isn't personal at all, I received no response from the general email address. I was only able to ever get information from the Pre-Nursing Advisor available by appointment on TutorTrac. It is difficult to get in contact, but it definitely isn't personal. Please do not allow this to discourage you!

I transferred from Lehman to citytech and I got accepted into their nursing program, I think I dodged a bullet just in time LOL

Nothing yet, it seems like they’ll stop sending acceptances around 5/6pm so there’s a possibility we may hear back today. You’ll know you’re denied when they officially send you a denied letter towards the end of acceptances to see if ppl will give up their spots. Try not to worry, everything will work out.

I haven’t gotten anything either. But there’s a zoom meeting this Saturday with the advisors from 10-2 if you want to ask them any questions.

No, I haven’t heard anything, I’m just assuming they started. Not sure.

Can you ask them about the budget cuts pleases That’s what I’m most curious about.

Hey, I did speak with the advisor and personally I don’t really think the budget cuts thing is going on... She didn’t mention that at all she simply looked at my statistics and said you will hear from them shortly. Also, there are about 120 open seats if you look at enrollment for the first semester’s fall nursing courses. I’m not sure how accelerates works but I’m pretty sure budget cuts would make it difficult to fill those seats if they reject everyone. Best of luck to everyone!
