Hello all,
i am in the process of transferring from city tech, to another school.
My gpa wasn't enough to get into the program there, and i want to retake a few of
my pre reqs and get A's i mostly got all B's in my classes and a C in math. Which i highly want to
re take. However, my dilemma is would cuny let me re take them? in city tech they only allow you to re
take 1 pre req so i wont be able to do it there. i was thinking of transfering to beth or lehman for a better chance, but i just feel a little lost and disappointed in myself for not giving it my all the first time.
Does anyone have any advice or would be able to answer my question?
thank you.

Hi Diana,
I can't really answer your question but I wanted to say that you may get more responses if you post in the NY program section of allnurses.
Hope this will help you out :)

Lehman is tough, they won't let you retake a pre req, well let me clarify, they will let you retake it, but they will tell you point blank, you won't get in thier nursing program. However they will advise you on what to take etc to go to another non-cuny program. All the CUNY schools are pretty much the same, so continue and go outside the CUNY System

I have ran into the same experience. Lehman will not take admit you into their program if you repeated a course. I found that out at the last minute. Very upset that I wasted my time. I am a Hunter grad that is now attending Lehman. Your better off applying to a private college..
