Lehman college 2016 admittance

I am applying to Lehman College's nursing program for this upcoming August and was wondering what my chances were. I just took my HESI exam and did pretty terribly on the Critical Thinking section (780). The other portions, I did fairly well. Math (98%), Reading (88%), and Anatomy (88%). My pre-req GPA is a 3.74. My overall GPA is close to a 3.5. I was wondering what my chances were with the 2 year program. One of the faculty told me that the critical thinking score was pretty low, but I should apply anyway. Do I have any shot at getting in? Thanks.

My CPR card says BLS Provider. The nursing department said that it should say Healthcare Provider but when I called my training site, they told me AHA called the look on the card and it will now say BLS Provider. I informed the nursing dept. Just waiting to hear back from them.

No, I don't think so. As long as it meets all the requirements, you should be good. But I would just get black to be on the safe side lol.

Color doesn't matter for stethoscopes. We have reds/burgundies, blacks, oranges, blues, etc. Get something you like and can easily pick out

yeah my friend got a call from the department saying it should say health care provider but when we called later, they said it's okay and that it's updated to BLS provider

I wasn't able to register for Nur 330. Did anyone else run into this problem? Reason given

Unable to add this class - requisites have not been met.

If this is your first semester classes 300, 301, and 344 are the ones you have to register for, not 330

My enrollment date is september 16,this makes no sense. I'm wondering if I'll have to go up to the school just to be able to register for classes.

So were any of you guys able to get your flu shots around this time of year? I didn't get one last year and the ones for this year haven't yet been released.

I ran into that problem too. I signed the influenza page from the health clearance from stating I wouldn't get the shot.
