Lehman college 2016 admittance

Published

I am applying to Lehman College's nursing program for this upcoming August and was wondering what my chances were. I just took my HESI exam and did pretty terribly on the Critical Thinking section (780). The other portions, I did fairly well. Math (98%), Reading (88%), and Anatomy (88%). My pre-req GPA is a 3.74. My overall GPA is close to a 3.5. I was wondering what my chances were with the 2 year program. One of the faculty told me that the critical thinking score was pretty low, but I should apply anyway. Do I have any shot at getting in? Thanks.

Everyone else,

You register AFTER orientation. You don't have to buy the books from the bookstore. It's wherever you please. If you're curious about what books you need to get started, what should be bought and what should be rented, I'll post those on my main Lehman thread a little later.

Stop by the nursing lounge after your orientation after your orientation for the real orientation, though I suspect that many of you will be too tired to stay at that point.

Im super interested in the real orientation after the orientation. I may be tired but i will be there. Thank you!!!

I may have spoken a little presumptuously. What I meant to say is that if you'd like to speak to current accelerated students and your orientation finishes before our class begins, you can stop by the nursing lounge or if you happen to see us in a classroom. We're practically the only ones around at this time.

As promised, my main Lehman thread updated with the books for fall (and my opinion about their necessity.) https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/lehmans-accelerated-program-1057489-page2.html#post9109124

After your orientation, I may have a folder available with syllabi so the planners can start planning and figure out when your life goes down the drain.

After your orientation, I may have a folder available with syllabi (and maybe some extras) so the planners can start planning and figure out when your life goes down the drain.

Hey TheUnseenButSeeing,

What shoes did you ended up buying? I know they can't be sneakers or crocs.

Thanks

Hello!

I am accepted for generic 2016 at Lehman College.

I am just curious how to register CPR training.

I got an orientation package by email but on the package, it does not provide information about CPR.

It just provided the department website, but I could not open the link...

Please let me know how to register CPR. Thank you

You can register at any training center that's been AHA certified. You can visit heartstartny.com and register for the Basic Life Support(BLS) course for Healthcare providers. Hope this helped

Dear User 234

Spring Step Beckham....maybe get a half size larger than you'd normally wear.

Hey guys, if you've taken the CPR training course, does your cars say "BLS provider" or healthcare provider?

Does our stethoscope have to be a specific color?
