Lee College ADN Program 2015

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Has anyone applied to Lee College's ADN Program for the Spring 2015?

I know I called today even though they asked me to check back with them on Wednesday. Well I think I can conclude that they are not going to have the Spring admissions with a 90% assurance because almost all the nursing colleges has send out the acceptance and denial letters and it requires a response from the applicant whether they are accepting their offer or not in a given deadline which is by the way over now or end this week. And applicants apply to more than one college to increase their chance of getting in unlike me who depends on just one program. So, even if they decide to have the spring admission they most probably wont have many students cause people already have been accepted somewhere else. The chances of them having the spring admissions are extremely low at this time and getting even lower as the days pass. So I guess I just have to get used to that they are not having the spring admissions and figure out what I should do next semester.

Sorry for the long post lol I just want to thank you for being so wonderful and calling lee college just to inquire for me and other applicants its so sweet of you to do that and I want to wish you all the best for your nursing program at Alvin:D You are gonna do great there with such a helping mind and a wonderful personality I think you will make a great nurse!!!

Aww that was so sweet of you! I couldn't imagine getting through the program without the help of others so no thanks needed. I noticed a few people in the other forum were thinking to apply for the LVN program & others were going to reapply for the ADN program. Either way I think having options is always a good thing. Please do not limit yourself & do not let this little roadblock hender you. Until they give you a denial letter, there is always still HOPE! If I can help you in any way, please DM me or message me on here anytime!! :)

They are having the spring admission they selected twenty students and 17 of them already said yes and im number 35 on the list and they are sending out the denial letters before thanksgiving. Did you get a call?

Thank you so much I tried to pm you but it wasn't letting me so I just wanted to thankyou for everything that you have done for me and said it means a lot to me:) can I give me it email id just in case if I get any more info I will update you I don't think I will use this website that often! Thankyou once again and I will always try to remember the Bible verse you told me:))

Yes absolutely! I will send you my info to your DM that way you can contact/email me anytime!!! :)

Ms. Bea told me they may add 5 more students to make it to 25 students total she wasn't quite sure about it. It all depends on how many instructors she could find and hospitals for clinicals. I thought since they were so late at selecting students that they lost applicants especially the top 10 students cause of their high Hesi scores and all that they might have applied else where and got accepted. I am going to call them this Tuesday to see if anyone else has declined. Did you ask your friend whose classmate was dropped out and applied again to lee got in or not? If not, will you please do that for me? I saw on the Alvin thread that someone that was #9 on the wait list got in so I still have faith:)

I applied for the Fall 2015 LVN-RN transitional. The deadline for apps is May 15. How long does it take for them to contact you to schedule a HESI and what about the blue card? Doesn't seem like a whole lot of time from now until August!

They do everything at the last minute but be prepared for the hesi they will call in a random day and schedule it for you so expect a phone call from them anytime.Um the blue card call ms.bea and ask her if she send your name to the BON and if she did then schedule a fingerprint appointment

Hey, I applied as well. I am scheduled to take the hesi June 11th. I did notice they added a critical thinking portion to the test, has anyone taken that section? Also, what are all the sections they will be testing (Reading, grammar, vocab,ap,math, and critical thinking) am i missing a section??? lol. I am super nervous about the critical thinking portion....any suggestions? :nailbiting:

Did they call you to schedule the hesi? It is reading comprehension, grammar, vocab, a&p, and math. I have never taken the critical thinking..

Yes, they did. I am nervous!! I had to go up to the school to pay. The process for admission at Lee is kinda confusing (soo many hoops you have to jump through in order to find out if your accepted). I also applied at HCC, still waiting for a response from them.
