Yess!! Thank god! I made a low score on hesi and i am so worried if i wont get in. I talked to ms.bea and she said it depends on what the other applicants made on their hesi. Someone else told me from there i guess her name is jessica shroff that i have no chance of getting in and i will get denied for sure i dont know what to expect now. Did you get a call or acceptance letter from them?
Hi, yes I received a call maybe two weeks ago from Mrs. Bea regarding testing and & to inquire about my pending classes. But I haven't heard anything since then. Please do not get discouraged, you never know what can happen or who decides not to accept at Lee. Is this the only place you applied?
I'm a little concerned that there aren't more students/applicants on allnurses.com that we can share and receive information from. Anywho, I was told the same thing but since they asked for us to get the blue card and about testing, I feel that they are having Spring admission. I was told if not, then our application is automatically moved to the Fall semester.
Do you know how many students they select? I think they didnt receive a lot of applications which is why they are not sure of canceling or keeping this program for spring.
I took the hesi there last week. But i made a 70 on the reading comprehension and 68 on a&p thats why i am so worried.
I called this monday to know if they send out acceptance letters thats when they told me that they havent even started selecting. I find it so irritating that they never answer my questions directly always gives me vague answers.
Do you know what else they look at other than hesi? they dont have a lot of info on their site. This is the only place i applied to, now i have to wait 6 months in order to retake the hesi.
There were quite a few people at the informational meeting so I can't see how they wouldn't have enough applicants unless some didn't intend on applying for the Spring you know.
Yeah from friends that I do know who went there said that they were extremely unorganized & that they had the applicants scrambling to get everything done last minute before the start of the program. I applied hoping things had changed but I'm starting to see now that it hasn't
As far as the hesi, I am not sure. They do not have their information online like other schools. They also require you to test after you have submitted an applicant, which is oddly different from other schools. But I was told that there are people in the program who didn't score as well on the hesi but meet all the other requirements.
Who is Jessica? Is that one of the admin people in the nursing office? For them to call you to test you Im assuming you have the required pre reqs and GPA correct?
