Least FADING Scrubs

Published

Hi all,

for all the nurses out there already, which (in your experience) has the most long-lasting color scrubs... I am required to wear a Navy top and Navy bottom, and I have never bought scrubs before. I just wanted to know which brand would be most recommended?

Thanks in advance.. :D

My personal favorite are Dickies. I have a bunch of them and they have aged fairly well.

I love the brand S.C.R.U.B.S. http://www.smartscrubs.com/ScrubsSuperStore/10/wa/gotoStylesForBrand?brand=S.C.R.U.B.S.&gender=F&wosid=Rl20001F300wi000Ky

They are a little bit pricey but they last forever and mine haven't faded yet and I've had them for over 4 years.

i don't know about dickies, i purchased two navy tops in january and there already faded, its only march...maybe i should stop drying them..i dunno...i like baby phat...or grey's anatomy..

I personally like White Swan scrubs. They are also known as WS Essentials.

I've had the same White Swan scrubs for 2 years, and they have not faded on me. My previous job required me to wear navy blue uniforms, so my navy blue scrubs were washed very frequently. They never faded, and look the same as they did 2 years ago when I originally purchased them.

I have the Grey's Anatomy in the Indigo, which is actually a dark Navy.

Doesn't fade a hair.

Least fading brand...Urbane scrubs; I don't wear any other brand. I've had some for 2 years and no holes yet...lol:heartbeat

Now which of these brands mentioned are the most stylish? Or do they offer fitted scrubs? I've seen nurses at the various hospitals with scrubs that look like they were tailored. Maybe they were altered/hemmed after purchase? I want to be fashion forward, but then again, I'm only a student and don't want to spend too much...

P.S. Hi Nan! I like your posts, they help to answer my questions... I hope you are doing well in your schooling as well as your personal life...Joe

In my opinion, the most "fitted" scrubs with that tailored look are made by Urbane Scrubs. Peaches Scrubs comes in as a close second. When women wear these scrubs, the uniform almost always looks as if it was specially made for the individual.
