Hello! I will be applying for the traditional nursing program after this fall. wondering if anyone else out there is applying and what your story is?? I have a few more classes to take this fall, then i will be applying! so nervous !! Please add any info/comments :)
Hi, I also start the nursing program in the spring. I am a little confused because I thought they mentioned at orientation that the spring 2015 students would have a mini-orientation in November. Just to go over a few things and make sure all the students have a good understanding of what needs to be completed before spring semester starts. I do see that lcc posted the 1/9/15 orientation date, but its odd since it's 3 days before the start of school, unless that is for something else. Did anyone else think/remember them saying we would need to attend an orientation in November?

No, there is no extra meeting in November. Just orientation in January. Just keep checking the "Accepted Student" page for updates :)
I'm taking a free physiology class right now to refresh in prep for Jan. I'm trying to find good pharmacology resources since I can't find a free class to take.

Take the NURS 119 Med Math workshop if you're math-phobic. It will help before you take your first med math exam. The best thing you can do is practice, practice, practice! You will always have math questions on EVERY nursing exam you take. So, once you get comfortable with dosage calculations (particularly IV drip calcs), the more you can relax and not stress about the math.

Have you had any contact from LCC about the spring start since you sent in your contract? I have not. I see that they posted the orientation date on the accepted student page (1/9/15) but that is it.
