  1. They state of Michigan didn't post my license until the 31st, but I passed.
  2. Took it this morning (sat), 75 gut wrenching questions, and got the good popup. Hopefully it's on the state website tomorrow or Monday
  3. Good luck. I just passed the halfway point, about to start Peds and take the LPN exam. It has gone by pretty fast.
  4. Do you know the medication math course number? I already signed up for 150 but I want to get that out of the way too
  5. nothing about orientation for me either.
  6. I took it at MSU and worked my butt off for a 3.0, I hear it is much easier at LCC so I hope you are taking it there.
  7. I'm taking a free physiology class right now to refresh in prep for Jan. I'm trying to find good pharmacology resources since I can't find a free class to take. https://class.coursera.org/humanphysio-004 Any medication math resources to share?
  8. they told us that would be a Kaplan orientation sometime in the fall
  9. No its not a requirement.
  10. Admissions - College of Nursing - Michigan State University From what I understand the program used to not fill up, but that is obviously going to change dramatically with BSN being required for new hires at Sparrow and many other hospitals. You should talk to an MSU adviser,
  11. Have you had any contact from LCC about the spring start since you sent in your contract? I have not. I see that they posted the orientation date on the accepted student page (1/9/15) but that is it.
  12. I too have had much better luck with QD than the other two places in town. Had some bad customer service experiences with Uniform Center over the years and they have been pretty apathetic about mistakes they make. QD did seem to be a touch more expensive though.
  13. I was a Linux administrator for 12 years. Start nursing school in January and I have been working as a PCT for four months. Starting over at the bottom is crazy, and I get frustrated with all the turnkey solutions for EMR or telemetry monitoring but looking at the body as a system just like a server / network / whatever is really cool. Love talking to people about health instead of someone yelling at me for 10 minutes of mail downtime when it was their cell connection.
  14. well, its up now: Admission Information - Nursing Careers Department - Lansing Community College
  15. it will be on the accepted student soon I guess, but its not posted yet.
