LBCC letter of acceptance for Spring 2012-RN program

Hello

Just wondering if anyone has gotten accepted for Spring 2012/RN program at Long Beach City College?

Hoping to hear something soon,..at Orientation they mentioned that applicants would be notified by first week of September and I haven't heard anything.

I haven't received anything from them either, but I'm already in another program. I'll keep an eye out and post back here when/if I hear anything. Good luck!!!

hi just wondering, what program/school are you accepted in?

At the very last possible second I was admitted to the ADN program at Cerritos. I am loving every minute.

I stopped by the nursing office on Wednesday, and they said that they are still reviewing applications and won't have answers until the end of September or beginning of October. They didn't say how many, but they gave me the impression that there was A LOOOOTTTT. It may be a little while before we hear an answer from LBCC.

I got an acceptance letter in the mail today, so check your mail!! :yeah:There's a mandatory meeting for end of October. If you don't get in don't be discouraged. I got in on my second try at LBCC. I got a total of seven rejection letters from all schools I applied combined!

I got an acceptance letter in the mail yesterday, but I will be declining. Keep checking your mail!!! Also, I agree with sammiel78. I was rejected then later accepted to every school I applied to. KEEP TRYING!!!

Hi Jax88, I'm unsure as to when I'm supposed to take the teas too? The letter I recieved states that I must attend a mandatory orientation, but it did not mention anything about the teas test dates, etc....

If anyone know of the process please let me know. I tried calling the nursing department several times, but was unsuceessful. I also drop by the school the other day, but the lady at the front desk could not give me an answer about the teas. So if anyone know please help!

Hi Sammiel76

Thanks for responding with your GPA,.. I have a 3.76 and I'm on the alternate list, not accepted. I have a 4.0 on all my Sciences and Math classes and have taking all my other preq aswell but not the pharm, medical dosage etc,.. According to both the persons holding the orientation, acceptace was based on GPA...so I'm super confused how that happened. Anyway Congrat's! I have tried calling and left a message too and havent heard anything back. I'm sure they'll contact you soon. Thanks for all your posts and would really appreciate more updates from you :)

thank both of u guys for responding
