Hi All,

I decided to join these forums as i am an aspiring nursing student. Im excited to be a part of this online community. Aside from all the available online data from their website, can somebody shed some light on this program? I have applied already and have been studying for the TEAS test. Has anybody else applied for spring 2018? This would be my first ever application to Nursing school. Im super nervous but excited as theres not too many male Nurses as far as i know. Does anybody know if they have started inviting students to take the TEAS? Thank you all and god bless!

Hi, I also applied for spring 2018! I just called them earlier to check on the status of the application and they said they're still working on it. And as for the TEAS, they would contact us via email or phone anytime soon to take it if we haven't yet. How do you study for it? I'm struggling on the math part -.-

Oh ok thats great because ive been studying. I cant wait to be called so i can finally go take that test. I have many sources that i study with but the main one is the Teas 6 study manual by ATI. For math and science I would also go on youtube and watch the teas 6 math and/or science study guide. Theres also some phone apps that have similar test questions for the Teas 6 so that can help aswell. Is this your first time applying?

I applied, they asked me to send my teas yesterday and then called me within an hour to let me know i was accepted.

Hello I also applied to lavc but I don't get how they do their choosing. If they call you does that mean you're in or not?

Im not too sure myself but its either contact by email or phone and i havent gotten either. If they call, it most likely means you are selected and i think they ask you to send results or take your teas test.

Ok, thanks for the advice! Yes, this is my first time. Are you also applying to some other colleges as well? I'm planning to apply to COC and Pierce on Dec. and Jan. I hope we get in to LAVC!
