LAVC Registered Nursing Spring 2018

Hi All,

I decided to join these forums as i am an aspiring nursing student. Im excited to be a part of this online community. Aside from all the available online data from their website, can somebody shed some light on this program? I have applied already and have been studying for the TEAS test. Has anybody else applied for spring 2018? This would be my first ever application to Nursing school. Im super nervous but excited as theres not too many male Nurses as far as i know. Does anybody know if they have started inviting students to take the TEAS? Thank you all and god bless!

I never received anything from them! I turned in my application along with the counselor signed off sheet. I had already taken the teas test. Never received anything at all, weird.

They do send a rejection email but they take a while. I remember getting mine in july and they sent the acceptance letters in like june.

Did anyone else receive a letter from Valley saying your file was incomplete with no specifics? So weird because I turned everything in on the first day.

i believe everyone got some form of a rejection letter today. My letter stated a low cut score. :/ Got to try again!

Hey y'all! I just finished applying to Augusta. My stats aren't that great: 3.37 GPA, 3.0 Science GPA, 76 on TEAS. I have over 200 volunteer hours, not much healthcare experience other than volunteering at CHOA. I hope my essay gets my in, I put a lot of heart into it. Anyone think I got a shot of getting in? 😭

Hello I think you have a pretty good chance to get in, your stats are pretty much like mine and I got in the program.
