Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year.

If you can schedule an appt with a counselor (even if its not the main one who’s in charge of the wait list) and they would be able to forward your message to her. That’s what I did since she didn’t answer me back the couple times I emailed her way back.
I agree they literally do not answer their emails. I was able to get a hold of her in early December and all she said was that “Your name is still on our waiting list. Due to the current pandemic, we aren't sure when we will be starting a new cohort. I can only estimate your wait time to be extended another 1- 2 semesters. We are currently waiting for approval to start a new cohort in the Spring of 2021. Once I receive approval, I will be admitting students who applied in June- September of 2018. I hope this information helps! Have a nice day”.

That’s great but it all depends to the school. Plus CA is super competitive.
You also have your science and overall GPA, experience, interviews etc, to look at. I had a 74 on my TEAS and I’m too lazy to retake. You can get into other schools, you just have to keep applying.
Hey guys! I started the program this Spring 2021. Sorry we all went MIA on the other thread, but the second we started we got swamped with all this work and things we needed to do before we started the semester! If you get accepted into fall 2021, be prepared to take a 4 week class, intro to nursing before you actually start Fall 2021. So for us we took this class in “Winter session” before we started Spring 2021. So if you start fall 2021, be prepared to take it Summer session. The thing is .... YOU MUST PASS THIS CLASS! If you don’t you won’t be able to start 1st semester and get dropped from the program. If you get accepted, BE READY to make nursing school your all! As long as you have amazing time management skills, you will be just fine ?
