Published

Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year.

Exactly . I was told the same thing and was told to ignore whatever ppl wrote in here because every one is giving out false info. I applied in sept 2018 first week and was told was still on waiting list and that’s all. No date on when I will be called . IDK what’s going on. I’m just leaving it up to God

I talked to the main nursing counselor late November and she said they stopped on September 2018 on the list. I applied October 2018. So hopefully we’ll hear something around February for Fall 2021 cohort.

What about scheduling a meeting to find out what is going on with your application?  I applied Feb 21, 2019 and I was supposed to start Spring 2021.

oh I applied May 2019. When did you hear back from " A"? Are you starting in Spring 2021? or Fall 2021?

Yeah that's true @heavwhit.. I applied in April 2019 and they told me I will be in for Spring 2022, even though I'm praying I get in sooner. so you might probably be in for fall 2022 or at the latest Spring 2023. Let's pray they accept all 2018 students first so the list can move faster. Covid has really slowed things down and affected the program.

is that what they said? if you applied in the Spring of 2019, then you would get in Spring of 2022? not fall of 2021?

I don't even remember what they said almost 2 years ago, and I cant get hold of them any more so im just devastated here.

I applied April 2019, that's like someone applying for Fall 2019 semester. Not counting the semester that I applied (fall 2019) the waitlist should be 3 semesters, which is a year and a half. Originally what it was, if you go through the thread of pass cohorts, some waited for 2-3 semesters.

So I was suppose to be in fall of 2021. that's what I was told at the info sessions before I applied. when covid hit, they changed it to 2/3 years waitlist. when I last checked with A, she said I'll be in for Spring 2022 after she looked at the list and that was before covid, like November of 2019.

Now I have to wait one more semester for Spring 2022, and I'm even skeptical about that since their are people who applied in 2018 that haven't been called yet. If I get in for Spring 2022, then it's a 2 years wait, anything beyond that will be really frustrating! Like I'm getting old. LOL

Hi! I applied September 2018

I just hope I get into fall 2021 cause it’s already going to be 3 years if I don’t get in that semester.

Same here! I applied September 2018 so I hope to get in this fall as well.

I’m applying February/March of 2021. Does anyone know if LVNs can apply to both bridge and generic? I’m doing the info session soon, just curious.
