Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year.

Dang I thought they were done with 2018 applicants they didn’t call you guys back for Spring  ..... ? will they ever get to 2019 

I really hope they get everyone from 2018 in fall of next year because it’s getting ridiculous

Nope. “A” said most likely I’ll get accepted to start in June 2021.

More like Spring 2023 the wait is really long but if your patient you’ll get in. They don’t count your semester you apply in

Hey guys, I applied nov 2018 and according to “A” I’m still on the waitlist. Last I emailed her she said that if they got approved they would be admitting people who applied in June-September 2018.

Exactly . I was told the same thing and was told to ignore whatever ppl wrote in here because every one is giving out false info. I applied in sept 2018 first week and was told was still on waiting list and that’s all. No date on when I will be called . IDK what’s going on. I’m just leaving it up to God

seriously it is frustrating to wait and more so they don't give you the right information when you ask. I remember my friend telling me that he applied before a girl that he was taking the TEAS classes with because she wanted to wait and study more, but then last semester, he saw the girl in the Fall nursing cohort.

He applied in July 2018, so It's exactly two years wait not counting the semester you applied. Before covid, it was more transparent cos we get to see the list whenever you go there but now, I'm really concerned. Hopefully, everything opens back up so we start going in person to get updates.

I applied September 2019 and I'm hoping to start Spring 2022 but it could be an extra year now if they haven't contacted people from 2018 plus with COVID.. I'm actually applying to CSUs and another ADN program to potentially start Fall 2021

Yeah that's true @heavwhit.. I applied in April 2019 and they told me I will be in for Spring 2022, even though I'm praying I get in sooner. so you might probably be in for fall 2022 or at the latest Spring 2023. Let's pray they accept all 2018 students first so the list can move faster. Covid has really slowed things down and affected the program.
