Hi I made this chat so that those who applied to LA trade tech and are on the waiting list can keep current for fall next year.

April 2019..... I spoke with R about two weeks ago she said I'll be in for Spring 2022 and that I was 162 on the waitlist. Also, they're planning on accepting a larger cohort for fall 21 so they'll probably go all the way to 100 cause people might decline for whatever reason. so fingers crossed!

Hey do you remember what day exactly you applied. Or does it matter what day as long as it’s in September 2018? I applied nov 2018 so I just wanted to know if I’m in for fall 2021 finally.

I applied September 26 or 28 of 2018 Im pretty sure they’ll reach to November at least

OMG, that’s pretty late in September. I really hope they admit the remaining of 2018 applicants because it’s been one hell of a wait

Im so anxious to get the call or the email. What did they tell you guys when they called you?

I didn’t receive a call Just an email. They said that I was accepted for fall 2021. And that this is not an official acceptance letter. And to reply yes or no to accept. And if no to provide information briefly why including personal info. The email says that we have until the 24th at noon to reply. So tomorrow noon. Maybe they’ll accept more after depending on how many people declined?

So If I applied in Spring 2020 no way s it my turn yet ...?

Technically my wait time was 2.5-3 years. Not 1-2 semesters like they told me when I applied.

LOL... you already know the answer. Probably looking at 2023/2024. Cause I’m sure 2022 will be for those that applied in 2019.

Yeah for sure. I’ll say 2-2.5 years.?
I have already done everything that needs to be done while waiting.

Well that’s really good. Me too. I had enough time to get my bachelors smh. It felt soo long.
