LATTC FALL 2020/Spring 2021

Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

yes I did.
they started off with basically every thing about the info session, you already know, nursing stuff and application.
then she said the waitlist is now 2-3 years, I’m like I thought it was 2-3 semesters???‍♀️... so it changed, apparently cos of COVID.
Then finally I asked how far along are they on the waitlist. She said she is almost towards the end of the year. That she’ll pull for Spring semester students who applied late 2018 probably August - Nov/December.
so she’ll probably start 2019 students for fall 2021 . She said fall semester is about to start Start and is online, and mostly likely Spring semester will also be online.

That was it, she said if you have any questions to schedule an appointment with her or the other counselors.
I’m just waiting now for the Spring 2021 names to drop before I start putting more pressure or start contacting her cos I applied in April 2019.

I know it’s not that much but she took awhile to answer that waitlist question. I had to ask it several times?... I know she was like damn!!

Thank you so much for the information. I’ve emailed her several times and got no response. I applied October 2018 so hopefully I’ll get contacted. Thanks!

you’re right, they don’t respond to emails even though they were emphasizing we should email them.

I pray you get in this Spring and please don’t forget to update us if you do

@Lizesita2010 she didn’t. I was hoping for her to be more detailed. Like where she cut off from for Fall 20 and the start and end month for Spring 21 she’ll be choosing names. Unfortunately she did not and mostly ignored the question, I had to keep asking.

So I attended the info session this past Wednesday. Basically heard the same thing from the one I first attended. The waitlist is still 2 years. That’s what they said. I waited to the end to ask about my application status and she said she will personally email. Haven’t heard anything yet. I emailed her today and still nothing. I applied in Aug 2018. Got the congratulations email that I was now on the waitlist Sept 6, 2018. So honestly, I have no idea what’s going on or where they are at as far as the waitlist. I’m just praying that this is my month. I have to be patient. We all must be patient as hard as it is.

hi guys im currently struggling it seems like everyone is waiting sooo long and although I havent applied yet (currently studying for TEAS) I was wondering what you guys have been doing while waiting is it work ? pursuing another degree meanwhile ? I am not sure what to do, I am working RN but IDK if I want to go to uni to pursue a degree meanwhile, sorry to vent ? also what kind of schools have you guys looked into ? I don't rly have any guidance and know very few schools

I sent an email to see how we will be notified and when for Spring 2021. I hope I get a reply. I applied July 2018.... so I think it’s finally my turn... did anyone else get an up date or apply in July 2018?

Hi!
I sent an email a few weeks ago too and still know response. I’ve actually sent a few. You said you applied in July 2018 and still no word?? WOW!. That leaves me with no hope then. ? I applied August 2018 and got the email that I was placed on the waitlist in September 2018. So where are they on the list? What’s really going on?? I don’t know what to do anymore.

Hi! They got up to June 2018 for sure... they started this fall 2020. Im sure we will be in the same cohort

When I went in back into the office back in March, she was already towards the end of June 2018. So I’m hoping we are on this next list. Positive vibes! Just keeping praying. ??

I finally got a reply! All that was said that Spring 2021 is uncertain right now that and that they will have more information in October.

Uncertain??‍♀️??‍♀️!! And the application is still open. What’s going to happens to some of us still waiting?. I’m tired.
