Last Free Weekend

A whole lot of us are starting on Monday. So, what's everyone doing this last free weekend before our lives are not our own?

I'm trying desperately to get my house clean; cleaning out closets, drawers, cupboards, the fridge, and trying to get my son ready for school because he starts 3 days later than me. I'm also going to lots of baseball games because I won't be doing that anymore.

Well, in 12 hours I will be heading off to school. I spent my entire day at my son's double header baseball game followed by his pizza party. I didn't get anything accomplished, including the reading I had hoped. But, instead of worrying about it, I'm making my hubby take me out to dinner, and then, I'm going to bed.

I spent it chilling with my gaming computer and just put it in the closet. Classes start in the morning. I'm ready to rock this term and keep my 3.0 going. *fingers crossed*

I went floating and rafting at Bass' River Resort in Steelville, MO! Had a great time! No phone service! Didn't have to work! Only camp fires, junk food, and plenty of beer! Too bad it had to end. Time to get serious. Tomorrow's the big day!

Now that my house is as in order as it will be, I'm spending my last few days before orientation being a total lazy bum. My orientation is Friday and that's when all the fun begins so until then, I'm relaxing and enjoying my favorite reruns of Grey's Anatomy with a beer in my pjs for 2 more days. Cheers!
