Hey is there anyone who will be applying to Lasalle Univeristy Achieve BSN Program for fall 2016?

I am applying for Fall 2016, however I still have to complete A&P II and Micro. I have a coworker in the program and she loves it.

Hi just to let you know that NNP is the abbreviation for Neonatal NP, & AN you can not use a title you have not earned yet. Please change your user name, per terms of service.

I strongly urge you to look into other nursing programs. What LaSalle was, is no longer what it is. The administration is worried about themselves and could care less about the damage they cause in the process of saving their own asses. Each semester, new rules are implemented with little regard of what happens to their students in the process. As a senior with 3 classes left, I failed my first exam after being in the ER. Still earned an overall average of an 80 in the course. But the new rule put in place that semester was a students cumulative test average must be 78 or above. We had 2 exams that semester. I earned an 85 and 66 which was a cumulative test average of 75. I was expelled. I begged to be placed on academic probation, had proof of my trip to the ER which was the reason I wasn't prepared for the exam. I entered the program as an honor student, and was an honor student while in their program. (I did end up earning a C+ in a previous course and was no longer on the Deans list.) I was also given a D in the class even though the 80 points were equivocal to a C. I owe 30 grand in student loans and my nursing credits are not transferrable. What I continued to be told was that Board of Nursing was coming to evaluate their provisional status and the nursing program had to show proof of changes that were made. Clearly, I was part of the proof. This rule was not in place when I agreed to attend LaSalle and I can't think of anyone who would agree to taking that kind of loss if they ever fail one exam due to extenuating circumstances. Once they have your money, you are at their mercy. What was done to me is comparable to a bait and switch. It's scary to think that the administrators who have led the program into the trouble it is in, are the very people who have complete control over your future. I do want to say that I did have a few amazing instructors while attending La Salle. However it is my opinion that at this time the bad far outweighs the good.

How is everyone doing? My application is complete and I just took the nln on Friday. 154 composite.
Bumping this.
Did anyone end up applying? If so, did anyone get accepted? I'm awaiting an acceptance letter myself.

I am planning on applying to the Fall 2016 cohort! I was previously part of the ACHIEVE Program but had to leave due to personal issues/work problems. I did a semester and it was a great program. I'm reapplying because I had a good experience. Hopefully I'll be restarting this fall.
Hi! I remember seeing your posts when I was looking for information about the program. Have you applied? I know the deadline was March 1st, but maybe that's different for prior students?
I have not received my official acceptance letter, but I've been notified by the program's assistant director that I've been accepted. Anyone else?
Hm, they didn't say anything to me about the deadline being March 1st for fall. I sent in all my transcripts/background checks, etc. again. I think because I was a previously accepted student they already know I would pass everything before? Or perhaps they still have spots open for fall so they're still accepting students. The last time I entered, I applied very "late" in the cycle too (I applied in late spring and enrolled in fall). I am re-taking the NLN in a few weeks as my scores have since expired so I'll be heading down to LaSalle to take them in May.
If you've been told by the assistant director you're in, you're officially accepted. That's how it was for me last time I was accepted, so congrats! :) I hope to see you in the fall!

I'm sure it's different if they know you've been through the process... I wish you luck on the NLN!
I'm just anxious to get the papers in my hand, lol. It's been a few weeks so I'm like wait, do you still want me? Lol. I hope to see you at the orientation and beyond. :)
Enjoy your summer of freedom if you're not taking classes this summer! :)
Ah, thank you! I do not have any more classes, thank the universe. I'm going to soak in as much as I can before classes begin...I know it'll be tough once it begins.
Again, best of luck on the whole process, but I'm sure you won't be needing it. :)
