Langara January 2020 intake

Published

Hello, does anyone here trying to apply to the January 2020 intake? What’s your GPA and are you taking any courses at the moment?

Dang! You guys have great GPAs! I'm gonna be applying with a 3.34 gpa :/ I hope I could make it haha! I need a miracle to at least get waitlisted.

I emailed the admissions and they said they’re gonna start letting the applicants know in early/mid July

Are you going to take any courses to boost your gpa? ? I might need to retake my English

Good luck everyone! My mom and brother both completed nursing at Langara, it is def an amazing program. I didn't end up applying because unfortunately it's an extra year as opposed to UBC. Wishing you guys all the best!! ?❤️

I don't really know! I applied before for Bcit and langara, but I didn't make it! 3.34 gpa is actually my second try. It was 3.14 before lol. And so, I took an Optician Program while I'm waiting

Ohh that’s good! If I don’t get in, I’m gonna take English this Sept and apply again for Sept 2020. It’s sad how the GPA cutoff goes up every semester ? I know someone who got in with a 3.3 and 3.2 in Langara. I actually applied at KPU and their cutoff was 3.9 for 10 courses ☹️

It’s crazy competitive I talked to someone who got in a couple years ago with a 3.3 but someone I know applied with nearly a 3.7 for September 2018 and was waitlisted?! Best of luck to everyone!! ❤️

That wait is so long! I hope it’s the easier part of July and not the mid haha

The stress is real! ://

wondering why its taking the admissions committee way longer this year to get back with offers ?

From what I see from the previous Spring intake, it looks like the lowest GPA accepted off of the waitlist was 3.53. thought this might be helpful
