Langara January 2020 intake

Hi!! I’ll be applying!! I already applied to the Fall 2019 intake with a 3.466 gpa no degree and w/o retaking any courses! I’m currently retaking BIOL 1190 to bump up that GPA for the January 2020 intake :))

That’s great! How is it going so far? I feel like most students are anxious applying to the program including myself

Hi! I applied for the September 2019 intake. If I do not get in, I'm planning to give it another try with 3.53 GPA. I might have to retake stats to bump it up. Can you please share your GPA too?

That’s pretty good! Hope you’ll get in! I’m actually still waiting cause I’m taking the BIOL 1191 at the moment. Hoping it would be enough for January 2020 intake. Keep us posted if you get in ??

Oh! Thank you! ’ did you try applying for the Fall 2019 intake? Or is it your first time taking Biol 1191?

No, I didn't. It's my first time taking the BIOL 1191 so I'm kinda anxious.

I'll be applying too! Currently finishing up English 1129, Statistics 1124, and Biology 1191 at VCC.

I have a lot of anxiety going into this application because I just graduated high school last year and lots of people on here seem to have lots of experience / degrees already and it'll be my first time applying ? . I don't know many people my age who are doing the same so I'm a little worried!

How are you doing in your classes? Don't worry, we all feel the same way. You should be proud of yourself cause you finished your prereqs within the year that you graduated from high school!

Hi everyone!

I will probably be applying too, UBC is my first choice though so i'm waiting on that ? I'll be applying with a 3.97 GPA and a BSc from SFU!

Thanks for the reassurance !! It actually made me calm down a bit about this
I'm doing quite well! I'm not quite done the course yet because we have finals left but telling from the last few exams I think I'll have around a 3.8 GPA?
