Langara January 2020 intake

Hello, does anyone here trying to apply to the January 2020 intake? What’s your GPA and are you taking any courses at the moment?

Finishing up my A&P course at BCIT atm and applying with a pre-req GPA of 3.79.

A little nervous since I was in school a few years ago and didn't do well, worried they take cumulative GPA and I won't get accepted.

I believe they only look at the 5 pre req couses. You should be fine! That’s pretty high actually

I'll be applying too! Currently finishing up English 1129, Statistics 1124, and Biology 1191 at VCC.

I have a lot of anxiety going into this application because I just graduated high school last year and lots of people on here seem to have lots of experience / degrees already and it'll be my first time applying ? . I don't know many people my age who are doing the same so I'm a little worried!

Update: Just got my marks back for this semester, so I'll be applying for January with 4.07 GPA for my pre reqs!!

Hello everyone! I just applied for Jan 2020 intake last week. My GPA is 3.6 . Goodluck to everyone.

Hey everyone! ? I just applied to the Jan 2020 intake. My GPA is 3.62 and I have a BA from SFU. I’m super nervous!!

Hello all ? applied with a 3.602 GPA. Looks like a lot of you have really competitive GPAs, goodluck!

Hi does anyone know approximately how long it took for Langara to receive your transcript after you sent it? My status is still on “Missing Documents”

Hey! After I sent over my transcription, it took a little under two weeks for them to review and change the status of my application.

hey, those of you who have prior degrees are, I think, pretty much guaranteed a spot. Last I heard they were still giving priority admission to anyone with a degree. After all the degree holder, the rest of the spots are allocated based on GPA (for the 5 pre-req's only)

If you have any questions about the program, ask! I'm currently in the program ?

Hi, is there anybody else that applied into the january 2020 intake? Who else here had to retake a course but applied to the FALL 2019 intake? This forum is a little quiet than the past forums.
