Hi. I am very interested in the accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Can anyone give me any information on this program? I've seen the information that is available online. However, I am looking for information from experienced insiders such as: getting accepted, true level of difficulty, etc. This will be a major career change for me, and I do not want to make a bad decision. I have a 3.6 gpa from SLU w/ AA in OSH and BA in Gen Studies. I consider myself a capable, hard working student but all I have heard is HORROR stories.
Thanks!
I received a check list that listed all of the pre-reqs. for the program. There were checks next to the classes I have completed and IP next to the ones I am currently enrolled in. They may be beginning to go through all of your information. If they do it just like the BR campus you will most likely get the check list before you get an acceptance letter.
I sent my app for the BR campus in Jan. I first got a letter saying they were missing several transcripts and my essay. That scared me because at this point we were past the Jan 15 deadline. When I called and talk to someone they looked it up and all of my stuff had been received just had not all been put into the computer. Probably around the middle of Feb. I received the check off list.

It didn't specify any campus. It had a BR number to call if I had questions, I will call Monday, because all of my transcripts should be in. It was dated on the 16th, so I'm guessing it takes 2-3 days for the mail to reach me.
I will ask about when we will know when I call
