Hi. I am very interested in the accelerated ASN program at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge. Can anyone give me any information on this program? I've seen the information that is available online. However, I am looking for information from experienced insiders such as: getting accepted, true level of difficulty, etc. This will be a major career change for me, and I do not want to make a bad decision. I have a 3.6 gpa from SLU w/ AA in OSH and BA in Gen Studies. I consider myself a capable, hard working student but all I have heard is HORROR stories.
Thanks!
I did not ask to be considered for the traditional program. Based on the things I've read about the people who checked to be considered for all locations, I don't really think they are doing that. I would have thought if they were considering people for all locations the decisions would have to be done at the same time. I could be wrong, but I thought the students who got accepted into the traditional program have already been notified as well. Have you tried to call?

Hey everybody. I have been following this thread for about a week now. I have also applied to the tulane accelerated program, and like you all I am anxiously awaiting for what I hope to be my acceptance letter.
I did call about a month ago and of course asked about when we should be receiving letters, and the response was the beginning or end of April. I also asked about if they were still doing interviews, and as most of you know she did say that they no longer do the interviews as part of the application process.
So for what I only hope a couple of more weeks I am just sitting and waiting everyday!
Thanks so much to you all for the information you have provided. It is nice to know there are others out there in the same situation as me.
