LACC ADN Fall 2021

Hi everyone, my name is Monica and I will be applying to LACC's ADN program for the fall. I saw there wasn't a thread for it yet so I decided to make one. Good luck everyone!

That’s so odd. I emailed him minutes after receiving the alternate email confirming I wanted to be an alternate and he just said “OK thanks for letting me know”. I’m going to follow up with asking about the number ?

No, and I didn’t ask. This is the first time that I seen that they used groups instead of only numbers.

I asked him last Saturday and got my alternate number earlier today.

Yes, that’s all he said to me too but I asked for my number after he said that. Then I had to clarification after he sent me letters and numbers, LOL.

Ooof... if that is how the alternate list is going by... well then... I have a snowball's chance in hell of getting in... 1A25. AND THEN A SECOND GROUP?! Why even have an alternate list this long? Let alone another second group going up to 25. Plus, they only accepted 20 students this semester... Unless those 20 selected students all decide to not accept their spots, I still don't have a chance cause I'm 25th in the first group. This alternate list doesn't make sense...

Can we ask for a clarification for this? I thought 1A25 means you’re alternate number one out of 25

No. Based on what Kesha J stated, it means that I'm the 25th alternate of group 1.

Stay positive! I know that at least 2 people declined their offers so there is still a chance. People decide to go to other schools as well as other personal reasons and even drop out at orientation by not showing up. There’s still a chance.

Oh man! That’s a confusing way to group alternates ?? I ended up declining my alternate position as I’ve been accepted into another ADN program. Good luck to you all!
