congrats!!! now just call them and see if they are still hiring, i did see a posting for nicu/picu it looks like they want experienced nurses to train! could be a great opportunity for you :)

I found out I'll be on the oncology floor when I went to sign paperwork. Also found out the livescan/background takes about 2 weeks and then its scheduling physical appointments (2-3 appointments) and then meeting with HR and they have to look at budget and get an official budget req # and then I will get a start date.

Yay Congrats on getting the great letter!! I hope you are able to find something quickly. Let us know what they say when you call. I am excited for my initial interview this Friday. Hopefully it will go well.

I had my interview back in March and passed. I received a call from the RN recruiter a week ago to set up an interview for a RN position at LA+USC Hospital. Thought it was kind of odd they were calling me because I i thought we had to call them to see what hospitals were hiring. Either way looks like they are looking for nurses which is good to hear!!!!

Big congrats to you!!! I also got a call and will be going for my livescan this week! Sooo exciting! It's going to be super hard work, but well worth it.

ditto, i'm curious what unit, i met a couple people hired on different med/surg floors when i went in to sign my paperwork. i think one was psych and the other was on ortho. i got oncology and i think at least one other person is going to be starting oncology with me too!
