Hey everyone,
I figured I'd make a topic for LAVC's ADN program since I didn't see any that have already been posted. Just wanted to create a group where we can share comments/questions and the like. Typically the results for LAVC take a long time to come out (last year they were delivered in late July), but hopefully with the limited number of applicants this semester the results will come out a bit sooner. Feel free to discuss, and good luck to everyone who applied!
Hey all,
When I created this topic I meant for it to be a safe place where we could simply share our thoughts and questions about the application process for Valley's nursing program. That being said, I'd like to kindly ask everyone here to be nice to each other; I know it's stressful and hard to wait for the results of your application, so I understand the strong emotions. But as someone previously mentioned, this is a place to help our fellow pre-nursing students and keep each other updated, so some respect and modesty would be appreciated.
I can confirm that calls have been made to a number of students about sending their TEAS scores, and I can also confirm that a small number of applicants have been accepted into the program already. This does not necessarily mean that the admission cycle is complete, nor that you won't get in if you didn't receive a call. I would advise everyone to keep waiting until you get a call and/or email about the status of your application--it seems that they are still in the process of accepting students at the moment. Good luck to all who applied!

Agreed.

I apologize for any confusion my secondary group post may have caused. I created that post days later after I got accepted because I initially had a hard time finding this one. I typically search posts by the school’s acronym, semester and year. I was excited and wanted to hear from others since this current one was silent. I named mine differently in hopes more people could find and engage there, too.

When I called, the person on the phone seemed perplexed/concerned when I asked about people already being accepted and attending zoom meetings. To which he said that nothing of the sort has occurred yet for they expect to start notifying applicants in June. So if anything for now, don't believe anything till next month.
Did they tell you when they'll be sending out whether we've been accepted or denied?

And that no one has been notified of acceptance nor have they had any zoom meetings with students. Apparently, they're collecting TEAS scores from all applicants
I called today and he didn't deny the fact that people have already been accepted and had their first zoom info meeting. However, he told me by the end of June, we should be hearing back

I don’t know. Sorry
They haven’t even replied to my emails yet & the packet is due mid June LOL. I’m sure they’re still in the process!
I know some people have declined their spots already
