LA Valley College ADN Fall 2021

Hey everyone,

I figured I'd make a topic for LAVC's ADN program since I didn't see any that have already been posted. Just wanted to create a group where we can share comments/questions and the like. Typically the results for LAVC take a long time to come out (last year they were delivered in late July), but hopefully with the limited number of applicants this semester the results will come out a bit sooner. Feel free to discuss, and good luck to everyone who applied!

I received a call few days ago but I haven't gotten a call back yet. Is there anyone experiencing the same?

The same happened to me. Did they leave a voicemail telling you to call them back? Also check your student email in case they try to contact you through that. Trying to reach them at the office is a little difficult.

For my case, I was able to answer the first call which was about the TEAS transcript. They said they will call me back when they received it but I still haven't gotten any call yet.

I called yesterday at noon and was told that it was impossible that anyone was accepted for acceptance emails will not be sent out till June of next month. And that no one has been notified of acceptance nor have they had any zoom meetings with students. Apparently, they're collecting TEAS scores from all applicants

Hello everyone, I’m a new member here. This is my second time applying to LA Valley College. I saw someone mentioning in the Spring 2021 section that they would be calling applicants to receive a TEAS score by/on 5/27/21. If this call hasn’t been received by today, does that mean they closed the application process and I didn’t get selected this time? Thanks and good luck everyone!

That is not true friend. When I called, the person on the phone seemed perplexed/concerned when I asked about people already being accepted and attending zoom meetings. To which he said that nothing of the sort has occurred yet for they expect to start notifying applicants in June. So if anything for now, don't believe anything till next month.

guest1154675, thanks for your response! This makes me feel a bit relieved since I was getting anxious about hearing people getting a call and/or acceptance notification. I haven’t sent my TEAS score yet because I took my exam after application window ended. Have you already provided your score to the school? I think I still have a chance and hope for the good outcome. Good luck to you!

Hi, 

There’s already been 2 zoom meetings for students who have been accepted. Maybe they’re not done accepting people because some barely took the TEAS. The person above is absolutely incorrect. We don’t have an orientation date yet because the full cohort hasn’t been completed. 

I hope you get accepted!! Good luck!

I received a call to send in my TEAS (which I have done so) but have yet to receive an email or call on whether I've been accepted or not. Is it beginning or end of June that they will notify other people of acceptance or rejection? I'll probably call them on Tuesday and ask for details. Now I'm nervous
