Must have been your kind words, I just got the WSA exam link, thank you :)!

I'm hoping for ICU, Stepdown, or med-surg/tele! Wbu? and in regards to your post after you said you were placed in band 1, I think you should email the recruiters. I emailed them asking for a timeline while I wait, but they said to email your band results, resume, RN license cert, and nursing school diploma (which the issue for me is we don't get our nursing diploma till at least 3 months after grad and I just graduated last month, so I'm a little stuck there, but we'll see how it goes.) after getting your WSA results.

YAY!! Me too! but really really hoping for ICU ); maybe we will start together. I just called HR and they said there is nothing more for me to do, that the hiring managers will reach out soon especially since I am in band 1 I guess they hire from that group first. I think maybe I will still email? I don't have my diploma either but I have my transcripts showing I graduated. I just graduated last month too! are you LA based or OC? I'm in OC but don't mind the commute, I think this opportunity is worth it

That would be really nice to start together:) yup, not always a bad idea to email! I am LA based, but I'm surprised that you think this is a good opportunity because my peers have not talked well about county hospitals. But I am still eager to start as a nurse and am willing to put my mind to it. Hope the whole process goes well for you and hope to see you on the floor (fingers crossed for both of us)!

good opportunity because with this experience we can appreciate the better hospitals more and won't have trouble w experience after this

Hi! Is the LA General new grad application still open? Where would I find it? You need your license already, right? I'm taking NCLEX this weekend and hoping I'll have my results by early next week so I can apply. Do they do a rolling application? Sorry for so many questions and thank you in advance for whoever can offer me some insight!

Oh that's frustrating on my end. In an hour, it'll be already 24 hours since I submitted my application. I got nothing so far 😞 Thank you so much for letting me know.

I also didn't receive the email within 24 hrs after applying on Wednesday. I called the HR number and the representative told me that my application is still in "Step 1" and that it needs to be reviewed and then I will receive the link to take the WSA exam. The person in charge of the posting is on vacation, I believe that is why there is a delay. I tried emailing the person in charge of the posting and received an automatic reply that they will be out of office until 06/30.

For the Harbor UCLA nursing application that was emailed out on June 30th, did you guys bother adding references? I don't think it's mandatory.

I did just in case but your right don't think it's mandatory. Do we know how many er spots they have? And how long I will have to wait to see if I get an offer? I have my interview on tues, I'm so nervous!!

I did because someone on the recruitment team said that the more you have from their checklist, the more likely they'll prioritize your application

Can someone give me advice, cause I'm kind of lost on how to even get in touch with La General's recruitment team or how to get in touch with them the correct way.

I sent my band results email, all of the usual documents etc. to this email ([email protected]) and asked about their new grad program & told them my units of interest. But I haven't gotten a response back yet.

Am I doing it right or should I be calling their HR directly?

Anyone know when LA General's next cohort is supposed to start? Or is there no official date yet?

hi everyone!

I just completed my assessment how soon after did they email the results and what are the next steps? Thank you!

hello!

I was wondering if someone could help me with the next steps. I submitted my applciation and did the assessment and got my score back today. Was not instructed on what to do next other than that I was now on the eligibility list.

"Your opportunity for appointment cannot be predicted at this time. It depends on the number of vacancies, the group or band you are in, and the use of management's discretion to appoint any eligible within a group or band from which appointments can be made".

would appreciate any help, thank you!
