What are some extremes you’ve come across in your career? Biggest/smallest full term baby, youngest/oldest mother, the most kids in one family, largest set of multiples, the longest overdue... or whatever else you can think of.

I've only been working L&D for 2 years, but here goes:

Largest set of multiples: Triplets

Longest overdue: 42.3 weeks

Youngest mother:: 14 years

Oldest mother: 50+ years

Grand multipara: G18

Biggest baby: 11 lbs

Smallest baby: 4 lbs.

Biggest EBL: 2000+

Specializes in L&D.

I have been in OB for 2.5 years. Here are my numbers so far:

Largest set of multiples: triplets

Longest overdue: 42.2 weeks

Youngest mother: 16

Oldest mother: 43

Biggest QBL: 3000

Both happened to be in the unit at the same time. I footprinted them and copied the footprints side by side on cardstock. It was almost mind-blowing.
