L.A County School of nursing Fall 2016

Is anyone applying for Fall 2016? Has anyone here attended the information session for Fall 2016 applicants? If so, can you provide some details as to what is was about. I was not able to attend.

Hi..every one in this treat, I am sure you guys all doing well in the class, I like to hear some more experienced taking nursing program with LAC.

I applied to LAC for spring 2017 and just took ATI Teas last friday, my total point is 77 (include my teas point). I worried because the cut of point since last 2 years is 78. The acceptance and reject letter will be send out by beginning of November 16.

I also consider to apply to community college like Rio Hondo, LACC and others because I will be eligible for fee waiver. My question is, if I got accepted to LAC is it worth to pay the tuition for almost $10k (2yrs). My gut tell me to stick with LAC because of the reputation, clinical and also there is probability to work with USC Hospital, since it is hard for the new grads to get a job, but i consider the cost.

any advices will be appreciated.

Hey! I ended up going the GCC program and I can tell you all about that if you applied. Other than that, I hear LAC is great, but tough. What nursing school isnt difficult tho? I find myself studying every day, atleast 2-3hours to be sane.
