Hi All,
I am a current sophomore at KU and have applied to the SON at KU for Fall of 2016. I am a member of the University of Kansas Honors Program, have a cumulative GPA of 3.67 and my CNA certification. I also volunteered at KU SON last summer. I was curious if anyone knows the average admission criterion for students admitted to KU? I'd also like to hear from any other students applying for fall admissions as well.
Thanks so much!

Hi! I actually applied to KU's SON for fall 2016 as well! I am a bit older than you as I graduated from KU in 2012! I think you're good with your GPA. Upon email some advisers, I was told the average GPA admittance rate was 3.7, but I personally know someone who started KU's program in August of 2014 and had a cumulative GPA of 3.5! Best of luck to you! Keep me posted! :)

I also applied for KU's Fall 2016 BSN program! anicole285 is correct, the average admitted GPA is a 3.7. I was just recently accepted into Saint Luke's program and am eagerly awaiting hearing back from KU - then I'll need to make a difficult decision. Good luck to you!
I think KU is supposed to reach out to people this week about acceptance! Has anyone heard from them yet?
I hear they do letters for sure. I have read some posts that say they make phone calls first and then send out letters/emails, while others have said they just got a letter in the mail and an email about their acceptance, but no phone call!
Anyone know fully how it works?
From what the Pre-Nursing advisor at KU told all of us last week, letters will be going out the 3rd week in March, so next week instead of this one.
You all should have heard back from KU via email recently. I was accepted!! I decided to accept my seat instead of my seat at Saint Luke's. Hope you all have good news as well!
