Hello, all former and current students. I really need help, i just received my letter to start the program in january of 2016. I am very excited about this, but i am also very nervous. I am having a hard time trying to figure out a technique to study, so i can pass a&p 2! Please tactile/kinesthetic learners help me!!!!😞 what worked for you? I need all of your tips, besides flashcards, because they are very time consuming and i can hardly learn from them! Any ideas?

The Anatomy Coloring Book helped me a ton!

Also, I liked to cover the diagrams with post it's and make identifying the structures a game. Another thing that helped me a lot were mnemonics. Like for the cranial nerves "On Old Olympus' Towering Tops, A Finn And German Viewed Some Hops" and stuff like that.

My library had anatomical models, which helped me learn more than looking at pictures.

Thank you for your reply(: did the coloring book help with lectures?
How did you study for the actual lecture test. I am doing great on my labs because they are pictures. But did you use the anatomical models for lecture?

My class lectures are based on PowerPoints, which we are able to download. I go thru each slide and write out the main points. I also look up videos on youtube or on the Mastering A and P website. (we use Mastering A and P books)
