  1. My class lectures are based on PowerPoints, which we are able to download. I go thru each slide and write out the main points. I also look up videos on youtube or on the Mastering A and P website. (we use Mastering A and P books)
  2. I don't have the answer to your question, but I will extend my condolences for your loss.
  3. This has happened to me before. In my situation though, I think that they were really trying to impress the patient or other family members. It can be annoying though.
  4. I know this can be frustrating....I feel your pain. You could try calling the places you applied to to get a status on your application and to put your name out there and show intrest. Also, try Indeed.com and search using your city and job title. There are active job listings on there. I wish you the best.
  5. I will pray for you and all involved. So sorry for the loss.
  6. Go for it! I'm 44 and I just started.
  7. I was a student at WGU and was taking College Algebra (2013). The cut score was 67 and I made a 66.67. Wasn't even a WHOLE point. I was told I had to repeat the class. I think having you pay for the class again is what they want. More money in their pockets. I've always struggled with the Math. I made an F in remedial math the first time I attempted nursing school in 1996. I ended up taking remedial math again the next semester and I failed again. I let those grades define me back then because I did not attempt again. Now here it is 2015, 19 years later and I will complete it this time. I am currently maintaining an average of 88 in my College Algebra class. I did not "get it" (math) overnight, I was expose to it as I had two children in school that I had to assist but the biggest reason is that I practiced my tail off since failing since in 2013 and I was able to make a score of 49 on the math Compass test. Like the jadelpn wrote, don't let this define you!
  8. Greetings, my first post! im interested in gerontology.
