Hey guys, I recently just applied to the program for Spring of 2020. I would just like to share my stats with you guys hoping that you guys would do the same.
3.72 Overall GPA
4.0 GPA for 5/7 Science & Math Courses
4.0 GPA for 7/12 Pre-Reqs
80 TEAS Score
84.4/90 Competitive Score
I am a bit insecure about my TEAS score because it’s relatively a low score. What do you guys think about my chances of getting in? I am also a Minority Male and my counselor said that I have a competitive advantage above the majority of applications but I’m still a bit on edge haha. Also done with all my 12 pre-reqs after Fall 2019. What are you guys stats? I hope the best for you all and hopefully we will see each other in orientation this fall! Good Luck to everyone applying!
My guess is that they take into account science prereqs being incomplete more than university required ones. While I would try to have all of them complete, I think a few like art or history would be fine. I was currently enrolled in both A&P 2 lab and lecture and microbiology lab and lecture. The following semester when I was accepted, I had completed those and was accepted with roughly the same GPA and TEAS stats. Hope this helps!

Yeah kind of figured, I overheard one of the advisors say that the TEAS is just a tie breaker but what really matters is the GPA. Haha hopefully I can make it. Otherwise, I’m going to pick up a minor in microbiology or something.
Have anyone heard anything? I called today and someone told me to call back in two-three weeks and she should have more information about when the letter will be mailed? Does anyone know if this is correct I was expecting to hear something around late September? Also, I wanted to know how was every getting there competitive scores.

I just met my advisor today. She said hopefully we will get the final email at the middle or the end of September.
Just emailed them a couple days ago and they said the emails are going out in October now.. They playing with us lol
