Kennesaw State University Spring 2020

Hey guys, I recently just applied to the program for Spring of 2020. I would just like to share my stats with you guys hoping that you guys would do the same.

3.72 Overall GPA

4.0 GPA for 5/7 Science & Math Courses

4.0 GPA for 7/12 Pre-Reqs

80 TEAS Score

84.4/90 Competitive Score

I am a bit insecure about my TEAS score because it’s relatively a low score. What do you guys think about my chances of getting in? I am also a Minority Male and my counselor said that I have a competitive advantage above the majority of applications but I’m still a bit on edge haha. Also done with all my 12 pre-reqs after Fall 2019. What are you guys stats? I hope the best for you all and hopefully we will see each other in orientation this fall! Good Luck to everyone applying!

Even though I am not applying to Kennesaw (because I don't have a competitive score like yours) I think you have a great chance of getting in.

Thanks for the encouragement. It’s really my TEAS score I’m worried about, it a bit low for the program. The program has a minimum of a 78 TEAS to apply and I only have 2 points above the minimum lol.

Have you applied to other programs or feel stuck with Kennesaw only? I certainly hope you get into KSU if that is your first choice but there are other programs that may not have nearly the same specifications (or may not require a TEAS at all).

Yeah, I’m sort of putting all my eggs in one basket. I don’t know what I’ll do if I don’t get in to be honest. Bad idea but I’m willing to take the gamble!

Does KSU let you retake the TEAS? Do it again if you can, it seems to be the only weak point on your stats. And are you comfortable with potentially not getting accepted? If you're okay waiting a semester or two just in case you don't get in, then I wouldn't sweat not applying to more than one. It's kind of a pain to do. But if you're on a timeline, it makes a lot of sense to apply around. There are a lot of great programs in the Atlanta area to check out if you decide to try somewhere else!

Hey there,

I'm applying to the accelerated program which I was told is a little less competitive (who knows though). I'm applying with a GPA 3.58 and a TEAS score of 91. My GPA really stresses me out, but fingers crossed!!

Hi all I recently applied as well.

GPA 3.04

Teas 78.7

Science GPA 3.3 (after I finish the chem serious)

I will be done with all of my pre reqs after fall 2020, so I'm hoping this will be a little more of an advantage for me. I haven't found many people applying here but we will see what happens. September is so freaky far I'll pull all my hair out by then.

Hello guys I applied aswell

here are my statistics

3.81 Overall Gpa

3.75 Science Gpa (without Chem I & II, and Microbiology)

Teas 78.7

I’m feeling so insecure because of the fact that my TEAS score was the bare minimum. And I’ve recently heard stories of people with better stats than me getting rejected. So I just feel so defeated. I’m a a minority woman. I also finish with all my pre-teas in the fall. I hope we all get in.

Yeah I heard the spring semesters are easier to get in. Good luck!

Yeah same here, Insecure about my TEAS. But I’m done with all my 12 preqs after fall semester. Only have Chem 1152 left. Idk lol I’ve gotten As on all my A&P and Micro classes so hopefully that’ll give me a competitive edge. My advisor also told me that minorities get a advantage lol. Good luck!

Your TEAS score makes for it though. Good luck!
