Hello everyone, I am looking in to attending keiser in october. I was told i have to pass the teas test to be accepted into the program. I want to hear from anyone who attends keiser or recent grads, on your thoughts and experience with this school.
I'm starting Keiser in January ... Could you give me a little insight on how the program was? Roughly what your schedule was like? Thanks!
I'm currently in my preqs and I've had a great experience. Every month I get a call from my dean to check up on how my teas studying is going. If I need anything. How my new class is going. I love it. Once I take my teas and pass I get to sit w the director of nursing and the board to provide my information on applying to the RN program. In September I took an evening class 630-1030 and this month I'm taking a day class 9-1.
Was going to apply to Keiser and my husband went nuts saying they are FOR PROFIT. He works in Education and knows these schools. Make sure any school is regionally accredited too, he learned the hard way.
Keiser is a NOT FOR PROFIT Private Institution. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. Small class sizes. Not just a number. I know my dean and she knows my name. Checks in on me sees if I need anything. It is accredited by the same agency that accredits UCF and all the other state schools and their NCLEX pass rates have been excellent. 24 students/nursing class. I've done my research with as much money I'm spending.
