Hello! I'm applying for the upcoming January 2024 start date! I would love to get more information and hear the journey of other nurses!

Hi there, I would definitely consider. If I could go back would have done CVICU first. (I'm at Neuro), especially if you have not taken your CCRN yet. (Which I feel that you have to have a great understanding on heart, meds and pathology). I believe you are doing the right move, go for it.

Thank you for this! I think I was just apprehensive because of the difference in the hospital sizes but I really do believe I'm making the right decision. And I have my CCRN so looking forward to getting my CSC as well when I can! 😁

I got into the Fall 2024 cohort if anyone wants to connect. Super excited to start this journey. I do have a couple questions about clinical rotations and if we have breaks during the program if anyone knows

Hi current first semester student here! Congrats on getting into the program!! We only get breaks in between semesters (16 weeks long) unfortunately

Congratulations to those accepted to the program of their choice!

There are two approved ways of creating a special area for your cohort on this site.
(Please note:
Post(s) have been edited or removed to protect your privacy and/or to comply with our Community Terms of Service.)
To create a special place for your cohort:

  • Members with at least 15+ posts OR who have purchased a Platinum membership can create a student "Club" for their cohort.
  • Click on the "Breakroom/Clubs" link under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.
  • Click "Start a Breakroom Club".
  • Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile application links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.
