Good morning everyone, with the last Keiser CRNA class of 2019 filled, I thought it best to start the thread for the cohorts beginning in 2020. I am applying for the Spring 2020 cohort and last I heard, it was still undecided whether they will be doing a doctorate cohort, masters cohort, or both. I was informed that they will only be considering applicants who have all the requirements completed (which I guess they used to allow conditional acceptance). I have had my finger on the pulse of Keiser and the CRNA program for the past couple years and have a bunch of information and questions. I hope you find this forum useful in your career decisions and best of luck in your applications.

The seniors just graduated and I know from experience they do not do much in relation to interviews or anything else for that matter. They are preparing new grads for board exams and that makes for a hectic February. All the instructors are tirelessly working with them to prepare them to pass their boards. PLEASE BE PATIENT as I ran into this same exact scenario last February.
Hope that helps
Yes it does lol. Thankyou. I was pretty confident I would atleast get an interview, and after not hearing back so soon. My confidence has plummeted lol
Also, to the people that have applied already: Did you write your letters of intent following the new DNP requirements? Or the old ones? Also did you write it in APA 6 or 7? Lol lastly, do you think they will even care about APA 6 vs 7? Or old vs new since these things are both kind of in limbo?

Hi Jjones4174- how do you like the program so far ? Did you end up getting a place in Naples ?
I'm in the second semester and I love it. Here's my honest take on this school and the degree of difficulty.
I found the first semester to be rough. 2 classes in particular will just kill you. Advanced pharm and advanced AP. Other classes just keep you busy. I studied probably 6-8 on avg each day with one day no studying at all as this was a recommendation by Dr. Campero. With that being said, the instructors are fair and have no interest in seeing you fail. I still managed Straight As but it wasn't without a lot of effort.
I have found the 2nd semester 2 be much easier but with a *** ton more busy work. Observation days, developing med sheets, quizzes all the time, modules each week, presentations...I think you get the point.
So far my education is exactly what i think it should be in order to pass the boards.
Yep, you have instructors your gonna click with and others you won't. There are minor issues I have with Keiser but none that should stop you from applying.

I haven't come across a school wanting a pre-test as a part of their interview process. was it multiple choice or short answer? if you can remember, what topics were focused on?
thanks!

Multiple choice. And sorry, I don't remember what specific questions I had, just that they were questions you'd find on the CCRN test.
Greetings,
To the currently enrolled SNA at Keiser how is COVID19 affecting classes and clinical rotations? Are students able to get the clinical hour time that is needed at this current time?
Has anyone spoken with a Keiser representative regarding future admissions and processing of applications and interviews?
