Keiser University CRNA 2020 Applicants

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Good morning everyone, with the last Keiser CRNA class of 2019 filled, I thought it best to start the thread for the cohorts beginning in 2020. I am applying for the Spring 2020 cohort and last I heard, it was still undecided whether they will be doing a doctorate cohort, masters cohort, or both. I was informed that they will only be considering applicants who have all the requirements completed (which I guess they used to allow conditional acceptance). I have had my finger on the pulse of Keiser and the CRNA program for the past couple years and have a bunch of information and questions. I hope you find this forum useful in your career decisions and best of luck in your applications.

How long was the interview

I would say 45mns to 1hr. 45mns with the panel then they will send you to speak with the financial aid advisor.

I am currently in the first semester of the Nurse Anesthesia program. I can tell you that you need a 80 to pass any of the classes. They say you can get a C in a class and continue, but they only allow 1.

Thanks you so much for this info, greatly appreciate it?.

Hello everyone! Any insight on whether the Spring 2020 cohort is full or are they still interviewing? I am hearing that there may be some spots potentially still open. Does anyone have any further information?

I was accepted into the spring 2020 cohort but I was under the impression it was going to still be a masters degree program. Has anyone heard officially what degree they wilk be offering? The program website still says masters and the COA website says decision deferred for dnap entry to practice. Any help would be appreciated!

Congrats on your acceptance! ?
Through my recent communication with the admissions committee, I was under the impression that the January cohort was the first DNAP track although they have not received final accreditation through the COA yet. I was told that the last MSNA program would be offered in the fall of 2020.
Do you mind me asking when you were admitted and how long it took for you to hear back? Any insight is appreciated.

I declined my acceptance as I was accepted into another program. When I talked to them mid November, it was going to be a doctoral program. They had hoped to do two more masters classes but from what they said, they aren’t.

I will be attending Keiser with the spring 2020 cohort. I am also looking for a place to rent if anyone is in the same situation please don't hesitate to reach out.

You can also reach me by email at [email protected] if that helps too.

If there is anyone who is currently enrolled in the Keiser University Anesthesia Program on this forum would you care to share with us future students. For example the process you went through to find housing, how long did you give yourself to relocate and get settled before the program started, is there any particular areas known the best locations and cost for housing, and just any other information and tips you may be able to provide for the upcoming future students.
Thank you so much for any insight you provide!

Best of luck to current and future SRNA students!!
