Hi all.
I'm in 2nd year and this term the instructors like to do a LOT of the newly majorly popular for the NCLEX "select all that apply" questions. Last year was mostly the basic "choose the best answer" out of 4, I got quite good at those...now here I am confronted with these darn SATA and keep missing them! They try to put like 6-10 on the exams and we have exams ALL THE TIME! And our program is all about hardcore pushing NCLEX style exams...
So please...any suggestions or any good Nclex books with JUST SATA questions? I have several very good NCLEX review books which I constantly use...I basically sit through the lectures, review the material, read the textbooks and then review the stuff in the NCLEX book AND do nclex questions...but the books I have, have zilch SATA questions. And...it seems like I am always off by 1 question!!!!
...I find them sooo difficult...I just cant ever get them right!
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Those get me almost everytime. My guess is to know as much about the disorder as possible that way you know to chose the answers. I missed that one today too.

I feel your pain... When I took the NCLEX-PN I got a TON of SATA... and I still suck at them, but passed the boards non the less so I guess I did OK.
Although I do seem to still suck at them in RN too. So with RN studying I use the Nursing Success Series... which also has a TON of alternative format questions, including SATA, fill in the blank, math, hot spot, etc. Hope these help... good luck!
