Has anyone applied to the USC Keck Hospital Versant RN Residency Program (App filing period 10/7-14) for March 2014 employment? I would like to start a forum and update each other about the process! If previous applicants have gone through their residency programs before feel free to share your thoughts on the processes and experience!

Applicants for 5 North Cardiology Telemetry were contacted already for interviews mid December. All other units are unknown.

Congrats on your interview! I got scheduled for an interview for the Hematology/Oncology ICU for USC Norris Cancer Hospital. If you don't mind, what kind of questions were you asked when you interviewed for hematology/oncology? Also, do you have any tips on how to prepare for the interview?

To prepare for the interview I just researched it on google. They don't really ask clinical questions, but more behavioral. The sample questions online are a good place to start. Best of luck to you!

Original scheduled dates

Applications Received: October 7-14 5:00pm PST

In-person interviews: November 11-22

Offers made: December 2-13

Program Starts: Monday, March 10th, 2014

I just received an email from the Versant Manager about new ICUs that have come forward requesting new grads! There may be more hope for all of us!!

Congrats! Did they happen to specify what types of ICUs? Are you an internal applicant? I'm guessing you have ICU experience? Thanks and best of luck!!!
