I am very surprised that between the all of the participants on this thread and the similar thread on Facebook, not one person has heard anything.

As I try to seek answers, I am one of the unfortunate individuals who had two dilute urine screens and my job offer was rescinded. I don't use drugs!! I don't drink an excessive amount of water, but am a coffee drinker. Each of my tests was taken in the AM (because I am a morning person) and I can only assume that it is a result of the coffee that diluted my urine. I also workout 6 days/week, but certainly not a marathon runner. As a result of this upsetting episode (being dismissed from my first RN opportunity as a new grad) I visited my MD today and had a full kidney panel and 10-drug urine screen done on my own dime. It is my intention to appeal the drug screen and will take this further if necessary by seeking legal representation. Not for the sake of being hired by this company, but as an advocate for the next person who will be falsely accused as I feel I am.

I applied to 7S Neurosciences ICU & 8W Surgical Oncology ICU on 10/13. My app still says "In Progress"

My Providence status now reads "Pre-Boarding Process Initiated" and I have completed the Background check (which says "In Progress") and blood & urine drug/ETOH/titer screen. I am looking forward to the next step...but what will it be?

Has anyone applied to the USC Keck Hospital Versant RN Residency Program (App filing period 10/7-14) for March 2014 employment? I would like to start a forum and update each other about the process! If previous applicants have gone through their residency programs before feel free to share your thoughts on the processes and experience! Good luck everyone!

I got a call from a recruiter this morning and an email with the offer letter attached "Please see the offer letter attached. You do not need to return this letter - we will ask you to sign a copy later in the process." And a note stating that either later today or Monday I will receive further instruction about on-boarding.

Hooray nursejilly28! I too got an email today regarding the November start date. Do you think my rant had anything to do with it? Probably not, but if I was a sports fanatic - this would have been a lucky sign.

On Sept 23 I rec'd an email (including a plea for candidates to opt for Jan, as they have more than needed for Nov) it included an update on attire and this line: "We will not take much more time to establish the November starts. Please bear with us for another week or so. All November starts will be starting on-boarding (drug and background checks) in Mid-October. " Since 'another week or so' is stretching into 3 weeks AND we are essentially IN mid-October, I am getting a touch anxious. Anyone else feeling the same?

Wondering if anyone has heard who will be starting in November?

My status changed to 'completed' I don't know if that is good or bad. Seems that everyone else is either 'new' or 'in review by manager'...any input is appreciated

I just rec'd my official thanks but no thanks email. I have my BSN + 125 hrs Onco experience in my preceptorship (Kaiser). I will reapply in the next round. Good luck to you all!!
