I was accepted into the January 2015 MSN cohort. Has anyone else heard back?

Hello All! I wanted to start a new thread for the Torrance Memorial Medical Center New Grad RN Versant Program that is to begin in February of 2014. Good luck to all who applied! Lets keep each other posted if we hear anything.

I got my welcome packet in the mail! It's official!!! So excited to be at the Mount with all of my new nurse friends :)

Karinehy gave a pretty good summary of what the interview is like a few posts earlier. It's not a hard interview, just a way for them to get an impression of you. Good luck on Tuesday!

For anyone who has had or will have an interview, any idea as to when they make final decisions??

How is everyone feeling about the interview being only 10 minutes? I think that a one-on-one 10 minute interview will allow them to get a good read on our personalities, but I am so nervous that I will mess up a question and blow it in that short amount of time!

I also received an e-mail about an interview! So excited!! My webadvisor has not changed, it still says "complete - in review process" and no new documents have appeared in the documents section. Good luck to everyone!

Sound like you have a great GPA as well as experience! If I were you I would just apply. The worst thing that can happen is that you don't get in and need to spend 6 or more months making yourself a stronger candidate. This can only improve your chances of getting in the next time! I have always been under the impression that reapplying to the same campus or applying to a different campus is fine. You might want to double check with SMU admissions on that one though. I found out from one of my schools. Got in!! Now just waiting on MSMC. Anyone else have new from anywhere else?
