For those who have taking the nclex already and have done kaplan, in your opinion how do they relate? is kaplan more difficult than the actual nclex?

With some questions yes Kaplan is definitely.harder than Nclex..But Kap helps you to think critically..and some of the questions in "who do you see first", helps you to understand or think why a patient has to be seen first...disaster time or in the ER. The sample questions are the best....
thank you. i have done so far 5 qtrainers and have scored in the high 50's and low 60's but no 65 yet. however on the qbank i have scored on some of the tests higher than 65, and as my nclex date is approaching im getting more and more nervous about my scores!
i know that scoring a higher score is what we all want. however, remember that, this is practice...reading the rationales....understanding the WHYs an answer was correct or wrong is the most important thing. you not only understanding Content, you are learning the strategies on how to answer the questions as well
Example in Psych.....an answer that states" i will LEAVE you or leave the patient alone is 99% always wrong.
however the answer that states i will stay with you is normally 99% correct. as you practice questions you start learning patterns...getting nervous as the exam gets closer is very normal....its very few ppl who can say they never got nervous BUT don't let that get to you that you dont concentrate in the exam room. some ppl have failed the exam not because they did not know what they were doing because of anxiety...trust me if i can do it, you can too

Kaplan prepares your for Kaplan questions. The strategies Kaplan offers were of minimal use for my NCLEX. So essentially, I paid $500 bucks to prepare for a few questions for which, I have no idea if the preparation was effective.

I thought Kaplan was harder than the NCLEX, but their questions are more like the NCLEX questions than any other. Worth every penny for me.
@connie. how were you scoring on the kaplan?
My scores: Diagnostic 71%, Readiness 66%, QT 1 55%, QT2 55%, QT3 56%, QT4 61%, QT5 56%, QT6 63%, QT7 68%. I did 100% of the Qbank and I think my cumulative score was in the mid 60s. I passed w/ 75 questions.
