Kaplan score.. Is it good or bad? Please help

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Good day everyone!

i am an international graduate student and I am scheduled to take the NCLEX less than a mont now but I am kinda nervous right now cause I am studying and working at the same time so I am already tired when I go home and start taking the tests that kaplan has. I don't know if the scores that I got is good or bad. The following scores below are the scores that I got:

Diagnostic test:51

QT: 61

QT: 55

Qbank: 51 with 34% used

But most of my qbanks are at 50's

I am nervous and bothered of the scores that I have, I read a lot of books and try to follow the strategies that kaplan has and also finished reading lacharity prioritization and delegation book.

Well, does anyone here has the same scores that I have and passed the exam? I'm scared of failing for the first time. I want to just take this once. - See more at: https://allnurses.com/admin-help-desk/kaplan-scores-838419.html#post7380718

Hi jowane.. i think you have to improve your scores and try to practise more by reviewing the rationals for both right and wrong answers bath books which you are following are good try to focus on the core content also.,, your scores will defintly improve..which book you are following for theory.?? Which place you are from..?? and also in which kaplan you are practicing online or book source...

Kaplan wants you to shoot for scores of a cumulative average of 60% on the Qbank questions (and doing all the questions).

For Qtrainers 1-5 they want a 65% an for 6-7 a 60%.

The readiness test should be 60%.

Statistics show that international students taking the NCLEX have a higher fail rate than those prepared and schooled in the USA.

You have a month, so continue to do Kaplan and see where your scores are falling. If they are falling at or above where Kaplan wants them you have a good chance of passing. If they are falling below, and you are able...reschedule.

Try to find a time when you can take the tests/questions when you are alert and awake. Taking them when you have just worked all day isn't the most accurate indicator of how you are really doing. Maybe get up a little earlier to take a test and see how your scores are then.

M iam internatinol student too. My scores are 60% average in q bank.

QT1-64%

QT2-62%

QT3-58%

QT4-64%

But m sure are these scores good enough or do I have to work more on my prep. Nclex in 3weeks

I think you're going in the right direction but that you definitely want to get those scores up. I also took some of mine while tired and that does NOT help at all. If you can, try to set aside time when you're not tired so that you can focus on what you're getting right and wrong, as well as going through all of the rationales.

My trainers were:

1 - 73%

2 - 71%

3 - 59% (super tired!)

4 - 63%

5 - 64%

6 - 68%

7 - 69%

My readiness was 73%.

I also used ATI to study but really focused on QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, and more QUESTIONS.

I took the NCLEX Monday morning and had my license number by 9:00 a.m. so I really think doing the questions and studying the rationales made a huge difference for me. Good luck!

ohh good.. is dat kaplan q trainer what you did is free of cost..??im doin through ny board and my exam is on next month...

Ur scores are really good . But never scored more than 70. I always in 60s, is that good enough?
