Hey all
just wondering for those of you who passed nclex already and took kaplan...
what were you scoring on qbank and question trainers before the test?
want to see if I am up to par-NCLEX is only a week away!!!
I took Kaplan complete course and did the qbank. My Qtrainers were as followed:
QT 1- 60%
QT 2- 66%
QT 3- 61%
QT 4- 61%
QT 5- 57%
QT 6- 65%
QT 7- 66%
My average Qbank score was 58% and I had 69% completed. Therefore if i didn't pass, I would not have been eligiable to get my money back.
and just found out a few hours ago I passed with 75 questions the first time!
It was tough but I learned a lot from Kaplan's and felt it prepared me very well, along with my nursing school education. I thought the NCLEX questions were VERY similar to Kaplan's. So Thank You Kaplan! :thankya:
Good luck to all!!!

I think I got a 70 on the Kaplan test I took.
But, remember, it's not weighted. I tend to think the weighted stuff helps.
One thing - I can see why it's advised to stay around positive people before taking this test. I respect the test and realize the risks, but I have to stay positive and remember what brought me here in the first place. I am not alone and either are you. There has to be a Plan. This path is bigger than us, right? So, keep your sights on the bigger picture and remember that this test is only part of what we have to go through to help people. The faces are not known but their spirits and needs are something we have seen in our hearts during every test in school, during every clinical, during every care plan. We chose nursing to make a difference.
We will pass this nclex exam!!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone
I took Kaplan and scored about 61% overall on my Qbank questions. My Question trainer scores were: Qt5: 58%, Qt6: 63%, and Qt7: 68%. Our Kaplan instructors told us to take QT6 a week before our test and Qt 7 two days before the test because it was most like the NCLEX. I did that and reviewed #7 the morning before my test. Doing it that way helped for review also. Also, the Qbank has 3 sample tests and the last one is 30 priority questions that were pretty helpful. I'd make sure u review all the rationals to the questions on the teststoo, this helped me alot! I got 75 questions and passed :) Hope that helps!

Any advice on using Kaplan for people who have failed the first time? What kaplan product should I use (keep in mind that this stuff costs a lot of money). Thanks, maverickemt.
