I just took the board and passed with 75 questions.
I mainly used Kaplan's Qbank/Qtrainer with 57% on average.
(the score was varied from 48% to 72%)
My advice is that take about 2-3 wks to do all the Qbanks/Qtrainers
until you get at least of mid-50% range.
I was pretty confident when taking the exam and it wasn't that bad than I expected.
Keep doing about 150 questions a day and carefully go over all the rationales.
You should be fine! Good luck!

don't worry:nono:....you are not only one who is facing this situation..i am also getting low scores....
but i am not gonna give up...i am sure if i will study more harder i will definitely improve it...are you an international nurse??.....i am also doing saunders coz i think my content knowledge is not that strong ....so kaplan and saunder both will help.....i scheduled in august 20th...i have i month almost...hope i will get there ...
all i wanna say is don't feel bad...that score has nthing to do with pass or fail in actual exam....
beleive in yourself....make a strong study plan:typing and try to cover all the important areas....
we will do it:up:
good luck!!!

I would not take a chance take the nclex with a 49% average. I would review content and try to bring the scores up a bit. I know Kaplan wants you to get 65%, so if you at least get 57% you not too far. I know people who have passed with 56%, but not 49%. Although, I think the nclex is not as hard as Kaplan, but to be safe, it is better if you in the high 50s. It is not impossible to pass with 49%, but I would not try to test at that average. Good luck to you.
thanks for your response guys. and no, dream1987, I'm not an international student. I'm currently here in California.
goodluck to all of us and i'll keep everyone updated.

hey,
i took kaplan Qbank and I scored like 50% and I am just freaking out, I am taking my board tomorrow. I regret spending 129$ on kaplan. I am using Qbank of petersons they give u access to 900 questions for $25. i mean they are deep questions, they make u think and i dont get mad when i get a question wrong because they really explain deeply why my answer is wrong and why their answer right, not like kaplan who give u a one sentence explanation.
wish me luck i am terrified :heartbeat

Kaplan questions are more challenging than the Nclex which in my opinion is good thing. Are those questions mosly knowledge? Kaplan questions are more application and analysis, which are important in order to pass the nclex. Some people do not like Kaplan because the questions are too tough, but in reality are helpful.
