THose of you who purchased Kaplan courses, can you recommend which course to purchase? I am thinking to buy either the complete online live course or just the question bank itself. The online live course seems very helping since you have a instructor guiding you with each question, but it's expensive. I viewed the demo for this online live course and it was pretty good. On the other hand, the question bank is cheaper, but it's just a bunch of questions I have to study by myself.
Would the question bank be enough to pass NCLEX? or Should I not mind to pay extra to get the complete online live course? I can't decide.....huuuuuu

Nobody can make this decision for you. You need to evaluate the options available based on your ability to pay and your assessment of your need for a review course. Most people do not use a review course at all and are successful.

I took KAPLAN through my school and had the instructors(most of whom were last semester instructors at my school that were trained by KAPLAN). I didn't look around at the programs, so I really have no idea of the differences between them.
I will say, however, that in the live portion of my KAPLAN review, the instructors didn't help much. They told us the rationales for why answers were correct or wrong, but you get those rationales online too. The only benefit to them being there was that you could ask at that exact moment for further clarification about a topic, in case KAPLAN's rationale or the info from the book(s) weren't helpful enough to you.
The books are good though. They do a pretty decent job at hitting the highlights in each area.
Is the "Question Bank" JUST questions? Or does it actually have sample tests, as well? I found that the sample tests were more helpful to me than Qbank was. The Qbank questions DID help, but the sample tests were more outlined like the NCLEX through all questions. They specifically told us that, as well.
I think either would be helpful. I guess it mostly depends on whether you'd like to have someone to answer your questions at that exact second(and hear others' questions that may help you, too- like something you hadn't thought to ask), and like caliotter said, your ability to pay. I THINK that all of KAPLAN's programs come with the guarantee...if you honestly used your resources they provide you with and don't pass your first go-round, they are supposed to pay you back. This is what they told us, at least.
Good luck with your decision!

I'm in the class room Kaplan now and I wish I had chosen the online version. My teacher doesn't give very good explanations. I even missed two days of classes(you can miss up to two classes and make them up online) just so I could watch the videos online lead by Kaplan's director of nursing curriculum. She gives detailed explanations which are lacking for me in the classroom. I've been told the Q-bank is the best part of the program...so if money is an issue I'd say just go for that. If you do the regular online it's cheaper than the live online.

pmkn its almost as if we're in the same class. i cant believe i spent 500 dollars on this bull crap. its ridiculous
I went into the classroom version with the mindset that the reason I chose Kaplan was because I wanted the Q-bank, strategies, and in general all the resources they provide. I figured the classroom part would be useless but it's part of the program so what are you going to do lol. Luckily they have the online review of questions to view if you need further clarification (it is extra work but worth it!).
