Kaplan college in San Diego RN program

Hi, I will be starting the RN program with Kaplan as soon as we relocate. My husband's in the Military so the wait lists at other colleges turned me away from them.

Do any of you go to Kaplan? If so, how did it work out for the student loans and stuff , I am confused. It seems as if tuition is around 45000 for the couple years of the program. I am eligible for the pell grant and the military grant of 3000 per year. But would the loans be able to cover everything else since it's a vocational school more than a traditional college? Thanks!

i tried calling an no admin rep is picking up:cry:...i really don't understand what's holding the process? I mean if there's any issue they should let us know and not avoid our calls. I am sorry, but this is really frustrating. It seems like they don't care for people who's putting up with all their delays.

Just spoke with the receptionist...I guess the director of nursing should be making calls sometime today. the program is close, so i guess they are not accepting anymore applicants as we were informed in this thread last week which is sort of a relief for me. but let's all hold on and hope for the best as we wait for the result today....GOOD LUCK TO US GUYS!!!

Just spoke with the receptionist...I guess the director of nursing should be making calls sometime today. the program is close, so i guess they are not accepting anymore applicants as we were informed in this thread last week which is sort of a relief for me. but let's all hold on and hope for the best as we wait for the result today....GOOD LUCK TO US GUYS!!!

Did anyone else get a call from Kaplan?

I got a call today and I was not accepted for September start. However, I have not heard that alternates are automatically in for January. My rep told me that the director of nursing will be deciding after labor day who will be getting early acceptance for January start. Good Luck to everybody else. This is a sign for me because with some situations that are going on in my life, January would be a better time to go back to school!
